A private community of practice

AI governance is moving faster than any one person can track.

The Responsible AI Leadership Collective is where practitioners come together to keep up. A private community for compliance professionals, AI practitioners, executives, and consultants serious about building, implementing, and advising on AI governance programs.

Membership is by application.

The gap

You already know AI governance matters. The challenge is doing it well alone.

New regulations are emerging faster than you can track them. Frameworks overlap and conflict. Your organization expects you to have answers, but the field is evolving in real time.

You have read the NIST AI RMF. You have attended the webinars. Maybe you hold an IAPP certification or you are working toward one. And yet, when it comes to actually implementing a governance program, translating a framework into daily practice, or making the case to leadership you are largely on your own.

Free LinkedIn groups give you noise. Conferences give you inspiration once a year. Neither gives you the ongoing, practitioner-level support you need to do this work well. The Responsible AI Collective exists to close that gap.

What you get

What membership gives you.

Not passive content. Practitioner intelligence, peer accountability, and the tools to move from knowledge to action.

Curated weekly intelligence

Every Wednesday, a practitioner-focused breakdown of the regulation, standard, or development that matters most. Not a link dump, but analysis you can act on: what happened, who it affects, and what to do about it.

Structured learning paths

Work through the Foundations of AI Governance course at your own pace, covering the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, organizational implementation, and risk assessment methodology. Built for practitioners, not academics.

A vetted peer network

Connect with compliance and legal professionals, AI/ML practitioners, executives, and consultants actively doing this work. Ask questions. Pressure-test ideas. Find the people who understand your challenges because they live them too.

Accountability & implementation

Not a passive content feed. Set goals. Share progress. Get honest feedback. The community holds you accountable to moving from knowledge to action, because reading about frameworks doesn't make your organization more responsible.

Templates, tools & resources

A growing library of practitioner-built resources: risk assessment templates, policy frameworks, vendor evaluation checklists, board communication guides, and implementation playbooks. Built by people doing the work, for people doing the work.

Weekly discussion & debate

Every Monday, a new prompt invites the community to think through a real governance challenge together. These conversations surface the kind of practical wisdom you can't find in any textbook or training program.

Who this is for

Built for professionals who are doing the work.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions.

I'm new to AI governance. Is this too advanced for me?

No. The community is designed for professionals at different stages of the AI governance journey. The Foundations course provides a structured learning path for those building their knowledge, while discussions and resources serve practitioners at every level. What matters is that you are serious about learning and contributing — not that you already have all the answers.

How is this different from IAPP membership?

IAPP is an excellent professional association that offers certifications, conferences, and broad resources across privacy and AI governance. The Responsible AI Collective is a focused community of practice — a smaller, more intimate space where practitioners work through real challenges together, get curated weekly intelligence, and hold each other accountable to implementation. Many of our members hold IAPP certifications. They join the Collective because they want the ongoing peer support and practical application that a professional association alone does not provide.

What if I join and it's not what I expected?

You can cancel your membership at any time. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. If the community is not delivering value, you should not pay for it. That said, we encourage members to give it at least 30 days — the relationships and insights tend to compound over time.

Can I expense this through my employer?

Yes. Your monthly receipt is labeled “AI Governance Professional Development — Responsible AI Collective.” This aligns with most L&D, compliance, and professional development budgets. If your employer requires additional documentation, we are happy to provide a value summary letter.

How much time does it take to participate?

The community is designed for busy professionals. Most members spend 30–60 minutes per week engaging with curated posts, joining discussions, and accessing resources. The learning courses are self-paced. There is no minimum participation requirement — the community is here when you need it.

Will there be live events?

Not initially. The community launches with asynchronous content: curated intelligence, discussion prompts, courses, and resources. Live sessions (workshops, Q&As, guest experts) will be added as the community grows and members express interest. As a founding member, you will have direct input on what gets added.

What happens after the founding cohort fills?

The founding member rate closes permanently. New members join at $149/month (or $1,349/year). Founding members keep their $97/month rate for life and retain all founding benefits, including access to every feature added in the future.

AI governance is too important and too complex to figure out alone.

The practitioners who will shape how organizations use AI responsibly need a space to think together, challenge each other, and share what's working. That's what the Responsible AI Collective is for.
